I remember being shocked when I realized she would be alone on the stage with two other girls and perform a long, slow deliberate dance. I was so nervous for her. But in the darkened auditorium, she came out into the lights on the stage, and began with the music. She never once looked frozen with fear or uncertain about her next move. Her poise is lovely. In her daily life, her movements have become graceful, her posture straight, her head held high, and she now hums little bits of classical music. I can't think of any other extracurricular activity that offers so much!”
