“The confidence and posture that (my daughter) has shown since taking ballet with Napa Valley Ballet is amazing. She looks forward to attending class with her friends. The teachers are very supportive and encouraging to the children. Our family feels so happy that we found the best ballet school for our daughter.”
- Sharon, NVB Parent

PerformancesAll students at Napa Valley Ballet may perform in our annual Spring Dance Concert. This performance promotes confidence, musical appreciation, and a sense of accomplishment. Students also perform holiday pieces for our annual Holiday Open House in December. COMPANY NVB Our performing company performs at local community events and fundraisers. This program enriches our advanced level dancers by developing their performance skills, and adds a quality addition to our rich Napa Valley Cultural Arts environment. If you are interested in having Company NVB perform at your event, please email artisticdirector@napavalleyballet.org Past PerformancesDecember 2011: La Magie de Noel ~ A celebration of the holidays in dance!
Napa Valley Ballet performed 3 new ballets that included Cheers!, The Magic Toyshop, and a special holiday rendition of the popular Bolero. Afterwards, festivities continued downstairs in a "meet & greet reception" as many of the delightful ballet characters, including Santa Claus were on hand for all to see.

“Swan Lake” and 4 other works were presented. Other pieces on the program include an original ballet written especially for NVB by local composer Kurt Erickson. This work will feature the composer himself at the piano surrounded by a corps of lively dancers choreographed by Isabelle Szasham. In addition, a whimsical Chopin ballet inspired by the infamous Isadora Duncan will be choreographed by Connie Vaughan and played live by pianist Martin Mansell. Rounding out the program will be a medley of familiar songs commemorating fifty years of “Beatlemania” and spotlighting local songster Doug Houser as he accompanies NVB dancers in a piece of nostalgia set by choreographer Vivian Aragon.
