Volunteer Your Talents

NVB relies heavily on parent involvement to make our school function.  As a parent at NVB, it is required that families participate with volunteer hours in one or more of our committees.  NVB is awaiting their non-profit 50l (3)C and therefore it is a parent run school with oversight by a Board of Directors and the NVB Parent Advisory Council along with the Artistic Director.  The school was founded as a result of our families who desired to maintain a quality ballet school following the closure of Royal Academy of Ballet in 2006.   Because of our families' dedication and with the help of the Napa Valley community, NVB has been able to continue their ballet program.  Please review the following list of volunteer committees and let us know how you might like to best utilize your skills for NVB. Parent Advisory Council

Enrollment Committee

Ongoing enrollment efforts are vital to the success and growth of our school. Share your ideas and enthusiasm. The enrollment Committee is responsible for keeping our enrollment growing. Initiatives may include tabling at the Farmer's Market, distributing flyers to pre-schools, shepherding the NVUSD flyer approval process, etc. If you are interested in being involved with the Enrollment Committee, please send an email to advisorycouncil@napavalleyballet.org

Sponsorship & Fundraising

Do you have contacts, creative ideas, or grant writing skills? The Sponsorship & Fundraising Committee could certainly use your talents, ideas and energy. This committee is responsible for building the capital we need in order to keep our doors open. Annual corporate sponsorships are much needed in order for us to thrive and shoot for optimal performance venues. Fundraising throughout the school year and at key times like performances serve to enrich our children's dance experience. Community Outreach

We are always seeking  exposure for NVB. The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for seeking out performance opportunities for Company NVB . The performance arm of our school. This program gives our students' valuable performance experience and a chance to share our talents with the community. Performances

Help them shine this year! Our spring performance is where our dancers are able to showcase all of their hard work. Every family will be needed  for pulling together everything from  costumes to ticket sales. Please have a look at our needs list and fill out our volunteer form to let us know where you can help.
